Who are we looking for?

Chief Communications Officer

Work Type: Volunteer, minimum 15 – 20 hours per week

Location: Melbourne

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement Gomo’s communications and social media strategy.
  • Oversees preparation of all external communications
  • Maintain Gomo’s stakeholder relationships (corporate, philanthropic and community)
  • Develop and publish content for external stakeholders

Personal Assistant to the Founder and CEO of the Gomo Foundation

Work Type: Volunteer, minimum 15 – 20 hours per week

Location: Melbourne

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • To provide administrative and secretarial support to the CEO
  • Develop and maintain reports, business papers and other related arrangements in conjunction with the Founder and CEO
  • Researching ideas
  • Filing, preparation, collation and distribution of supportive documentation, notes and correspondence to others in Gomo Foundation.

Board Assistant

Work Type: Volunteer, minimum 4 – 6 hours per month

Location: Melbourne

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Attending all monthly Board Meetings (last Tuesday of each month)
  • Be in full communication with each Board Member regarding items on the Board Meeting Agenda and ensure Board Members revise minutes after each Board Meeting
  • Prepare the Agenda and include all items for each Board Meeting
  • Take minutes at each meeting and send to each Board Member on the same day
